How do I become a customer with Continental Clothing?

Continental Clothing Company is a B2B (business-to-business) supplier.
Our webshop is for trade customers only, who wish to purchase our products wholesale.
We do not sell to private individuals.

With your personal customer account you will have easy access to stock availabilities, delivery times, price lists and special offers of all ranges of Continental®, EarthPositive®, Salvage® and FairShare®.

As a customer of Continental Clothing you have the option to easily integrate our online product catalog in your website. This way you can show your customers directly which models and colours you have to offer. We will display in just 3 simple steps how you can integrate the catalog of your choice in your website. We maintain the catalogs and update them regularly: you only need to integrate them once and we will take care of the rest. Please see here how it works:

Products

Where can I view your products? Do you have a showroom?
You are very welcome to view our products in our showroom in Berlin. Please book your appointment at fran@continentalclothing.de

Where are the garments manufactured?
Our garments are manufactured in Turkey, China and Bangladesh. EarthPositive®, Salvage® and FairShare® ranges are produced entirely in India.

Are the garments certified?
Our different products are certified by ÖKO-Tex Standard, GOTS or OCS. All the company’s manufacturing facilities are regularly audited for social compliance by the Fair Wear Foundation. We are also approved by Peta for vegan products.

Are textiles suitable for printing and embroidery?
All our garments are reactive dyed and ready for decorating in a wide variety of screen printing techniques including discharge printing, heat transfers, sublimation printing and embroidery. The garments perform particularly well in digital direct-to-garment printing. We recommend techniques that are environmentally friendly.

Do the textiles have any labels or tags?
Our garments have a plain size label in the back neck or a size label with collection logo (Salvage, FairShare and some garments of EarthPositive). On the inside is a wash/care label which indicates washing instructions, reference number, certifications and fabric. Additionally some garments carry a hang tag with specifications on special dyes or more information on characteristics of the garment.

How do I care for garments?
The garments comply with the general performance standards in the clothing retail industry. Some shrinkage and twisting may occur after washing but will stay within the acceptable limits for dimensional stability performance. Please follow the instructions of the care label inside the textiles. We recommend that the wash temperature does not exceed 30°C in a standard or delicate washing cycle, and the garments are reshaped before drying on a line or flat. Hot washing or tumble drying are likely to affect the dimensional stability of the garments and may also cause fading of colour. For the sake of protecting the environment, we say:

  • Wash at 30°C or below
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Line dry
  • and Only iron when necessary.

Stock

How often does stock get replenished?
All product lines are regularly replenished. We strive to minimize “out of stock” periods, however periodically, especially in high season, items may be out of stock for a period of time. The webshop shows details of forthcoming deliveries.

How can I check stock quantities?
Our webshop shows live inventory of all our stock products.

Orders

All orders are normally picked, packed and dispatched the same or next working day.

What is the minimum order amount?
There are no minimum order quantities – you can also order single items of garments (a sample).

How do I change or cancel an order?
All orders that have been sent from your webshop account directly to our logistics platform cannot be replaced, removed or added to. However, if you require to change or cancel your order please send us an email to sales@continentalclothing.de as soon as possible, and we will do our very best to handle your request quickly.

How do I make a complaint about garments?
All our garments undergo a strict quality control before leaving our warehouse. But sometimes, due to quality or preparation errors, our garments or services might not meet your expectations. In this case, please do send us your complaint as quickly as possible by email to our Customer Care Service at sales@continentalclothing.de. Together we will find a solution!

Payment

How do I know if my order is being processed?
After you have placed your order via our Webshop, you will automatically receive an email with confirmation of your order.

How do I pay for my orders? Where and when will I receive my invoice?
When your order is packed and ready for shipping, your invoice will be sent exclusively to your email address provided when you created your account. It will never be included in your package. Please transfer the required sum with your customer number and invoice number to the indicated account.

What are your payment terms?
New customers must prepay their orders. Regular customers pay due to deadline (purchase on account).

Delivery

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Our Standard delivery service is carried out by DPD and UPS in Germany and Europe. For Germany, please allow DPD delivery 2 to 3 working days and with UPS 1 to 2 day delivery time. For the rest of Europe, please allow 2 to 5 working days. However, like with all transport services, there is no guarantee for these time periods. In rare cases, it is possible that a delivery is delayed because of a bad weather, bad road conditions or force majeure etc.

As soon as we have dispatched your order, you will receive an automatically generated e-mail containing a number of consignment and a tracking number which allows you to track your order.

How much does delivery cost?
On our price list you can view different packaging units per pack and per box. Fast delivery is available subject to additional costs. Please get in touch with us, we are happy to advise you on different delivery options.

What is your return policy?

Before sending any returns, you must send an official returns request (including the item number and delivery note number) to sales@continentalclothing.de. We will send you an authorization. Please note that unauthorized returns will be rejected by the warehouse. Please put a clearly visible return form on the outside of the box.

Returned garments cannot have been worn or printed on and must be returned at your expense in its original unopened packaging in perfect state. Samples cannot be returned. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

Can I download text, images and logos for promotional use?
All images, text data and samples of Continental Clothing Company GmbH are copyrighted. All resources and samples are supplied by the Continental Clothing Company GmbH. They are not allowed to be used for purposes other than intended by your own production facilities or any other production facilities other than Continental Clothing Company. Continental Clothing is a member of Fair Wear Foundation and GOTS certified. Can I use these logos to promote the ethical and ecological features of your products?

Regarding both logos, unfortunately it is not allowed to use either the FWF or GOTS logo if you are not a member or have not been certified yourself. Please see more information in Fair Wear Foundation and GOTS guidelines:
